The novel The Hobbit was published in 1932 by J.R.R Tolkien. The setting is within a fictional universe where a Hobbit named Bilbo Baggins is challenged to complete a quest to help thirteen dwarves retrieve their mountain. Along the way, Bilbo, Gandalf and the dwarves face various obstacles which they have to conquer to repossess their rightful belongings.
